Following a ceasefire agreement with Pakistan, the Indian government has announced the reopening of 32 airports that were temporarily shut amid last week’s military tensions.
These airports, including major hubs like Chandigarh, had been closed as a security precaution due to escalating cross-border conflict. The suspension was in place until 5:29 AM on May 15, affecting both civilian and commercial operations.
With tensions easing, normal air travel is now set to resume, bringing relief to passengers and restoring key flight routes across the country.
