Blast Reported in Gurdaspur’s Chhichhra Village; No Casualties, Authorities Urge Caution

Early this morning, a blast was reported around 4:45 AM in Chhichhra village, Gurdaspur, causing concern among residents. According to Inspector Jasvinde Pal Singh, while a loud explosion was heard, no damage or injuries have been reported so far.

Security forces, including Army personnel, promptly arrived at the scene to assess the situation. Authorities are urging locals to remain calm and stay indoors, avoiding unnecessary gatherings near the site.

“Please do not crowd the area. Stay safe and stay at home,” Inspector Singh appealed to the public.
