Renault India has given customers a festive season surprise. The company announced that the complete benefit of the GST 2.0 reduction will be passed directly to buyers. With this move, Renault cars have become more affordable than before. According to the company, prices have been slashed by up to ₹96,000.
Among the biggest beneficiaries is the Renault Triber, the country’s most affordable 7-seater. After the GST cut, its price has dropped further, making it an even more budget-friendly option. Let’s look at the details.
How much has the Renault Triber price changed? Renault confirmed that all Triber variants will see a price drop of up to 8.5%. The biggest relief will be for customers opting for the petrol automatic “Emotional” variant, which is now cheaper by about ₹78,195.
Despite being a 7-seater, the Renault Triber is compact in size, making it suitable for both city drives and highway trips. With foldable seats, it offers a boot capacity of up to 625 liters, making it highly practical.
Renault Triber Features The interior of the Triber has also been updated. It now comes with a new dual-tone theme, improved material finish, and several advanced features. The updated model is expected to include a touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver display, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
Mechanically, the Renault Triber Facelift remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces around 72 bhp and 96 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox. With this combination, the Triber continues to be an excellent choice for customers seeking a value-for-money 7-seater in the budget segment.
