Sarkar ne 350cc tak ke motorcycles par GST 28% se ghata kar 18% kar diya hai — jisse buyers ke liye prices kaafi affordable ho gaye. Is decision ne Diwali ke pehle kharidari ka maha-mahol bana diya.

Industry experts kehte hain ki is tax cut ne customers ka confidence badhaya hai, aur festive discounts ne demand ko aur tezi di hai.


September Se Hi Shuru Hui Recovery

September mein hi two-wheeler industry ne recovery ke strong signs dikhaye the — dispatches mein 9% YoY growth hui aur production ne 2 million mark cross kar liya.

  • Hero MotoCorp ne wholesale volumes mein 5% growth dikhayi (647,582 units), jabki registrations 19% badhe (323,230 units).

  • Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) ke sales 3% badhe, total 5.05 lakh units par.

  • TVS Motor Company ne 12% growth dikhayi (4.13 lakh units), scooter sales ke strong performance ke saath.

  • Bajaj Auto ke dispatches 5% badhe (2.73 lakh units).

  • Royal Enfield (Eicher Motors) ne sabse zabardast growth dikhayi — 43% jump ke saath 1.13 lakh units tak pahunchi.


Festive Season Ne Di Extra Speed

Analysts ke mutabiq, September ke Shraad period ke baad demand mein tez jump dekha gaya. “GST cut, naye model launches aur festive offers ne consumers ka confidence boost kar diya hai,” ek market analyst ne kaha.

Axis Securities report ke mutabiq, October mein auto industry ne mixed performance dikhayi —

  • Two-wheelers, three-wheelers aur commercial vehicles mein solid growth hui,

  • Jabki passenger car sales thodi gir gayi.

Experts kehte hain ki agar yeh momentum bana raha, toh GST 2.0 India ke two-wheeler market ke liye ek game changer sabit ho sakta hai.
